Lighting Observation
WHEN? May 10th 12:00pm
WHERE? Hempstead NY Across the street from my house
OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Sun shining off car roof
SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: I look out my window and my eyes are assaulted by the bright flash of light reflecting of the shiny roof of my neighbors cars. Bright and round, like looking into the sun itself.
Lighting Observation
WHEN? May 10th, 2021 3:00pm
WHERE? Hempstead, NY Self-Storage
OBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: Fluorescent lights hanging above the aisles of storage units
SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTION: As I walk down the dark hallway, surrounded by metal and concrete, overhead lights begin to flicker on. The harsh coldness of the light makes the metal doors shine, ominous and clean.
Photo Observation

ATTRIBUTES: This photo was taken by me in Connecticut over the 2020 summer.
THEME: Summer
DESCRIPTION: The photo showcases a beautiful sunrise on the beach. The bright orange ball of light illuminates the sky in rays of orange, yellow and pink. The reflection of the sun on the water almost resembles fire. The pink tinted ocean creates a feeling of warmth and relaxation.
Photo Observation
Attribution: This was a photo taken by me in Paris at a restaurant
Theme: Summer
Description:
The sun ways of summer hide beneath the frames of beautiful art. Highlighting the aesthetic of the simple beautiful summer Paris. The flowers bloom brightly outside with the sun, and the sky forms an outline of the old architecture. The rays are a light blush entering the windows, giving the minimalist clearing of what is in the room. The colors and space remind me of the joy of summer, and how anything is beautiful with just simply lighting.

Photo Observation- Summer

2) Attribute the Photo, tell us where it came from.
This is a photo from summer of 2020 when I was visiting my friend in New Hampshire.
3) THEME: Summer
4) DESCRIPTION:
The surrounding darkness creates suspicions that rain is on the way. When it comes, there’s no way of stopping it, so why not enjoy it? After all the storming and thundering comes light, excitement, and beautiful colors. Picture-worthy moments along with sights you’d have never gotten to see otherwise.
Photo Observation
ATTRIBUTION: Penn Yan, NY. Seneca Lake. August 22, 2017 ~5am
THEME: summer
DESCRIPTION: The rising sun pushes past the hills on the horizon. The trees barricade the orange glow from pushing onto the land for one last day at a summer camp. The water is calm and peaceful. Serenity flows through the air
Photo Observation
2) ATTRIBUTION: taken by me in California in 2018
3) THEME: Summer
4) DESCRIPTION: The amber colors beaming out of the sky remind you of iced orange juice on a hot summer afternoon as the sun silhouettes the palm trees, instantly making me think of the dry heat on this family trip to California. The wispy clouds are a sign of beautiful summer weather, even as the sun begins to down.
