Photo Observation

2) Photo by Nadine Wuchenauer from Pexels.

3) THEME: Romantic/Romance

4) DESCRIPTION: This photo was proof to me that you could draw the feeling of romance from lighting in broad day light rather than a darker, moodier example of lighting. The natural light coming from the sun is joyful and the concentrated glow from the string lights is intimate and distinct. Both sources work together to create this beautifully simple composition that feels like a cozy day at home with someone you love.

Photo Observation #3

Time/Place: Wynwood Walls, October 26, 2019, 9:24pm

Theme: Romantic/Romance

Description: I took this picture while walking through the Wynwood Walls gallery. The lighting throughout the pathway was just like this, dark and shadowy. I felt this exhibited a romantic ambiance with the silhouettes casted against the bright paintings. The location gave me an intimate feeling and the darkness of the night eluded to that. The concentration of the spotlights also gives this feeling of admiration for me, shining light on the artwork. This is what romance looks like for me through light.

Romance

2) The Philadelphia Lantern festival 2018

3) THEME: Romance/ Romantic

4) DESCRIPTION: Thinking about the word romance, most people’s brains will go automatically to candlelights dinners and people kissing in the moonlight. Instantly my mind thinks of a time I was with my partner at this festival. watching the lights float into the air just makes my heart flutter
